How to go to Phuket by Bus and Air

Phuket, the island of many beaches which can be visited conveniently by the spider- like road around the island linking every beach, but to choose the most beautiful beach. Four of them are selected that are Nai Han, Kata, Karon and Patong Beach, the center of great fun.

Go to Phuket by Bus
Bangkok - Ranong - Phuket
From Bangkok, use Highway 35 (Thonburi - Pak Tho) and connect Highway 4
(Phetchakasem Road) passing Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong, Phang Nga. Turn right to Highway 402 crossing Thep Krasattri Bridge to Phuket Province. The total distance is 840 km taking about 10 - 12 hours driving.

This old route is not popular because of the very curved road crossing the high mountain range along the way. So tourists who plan to visit Phuket and not stopping at Ranong or Khuraburi of Phang Nga will net use this route.

Bangkok - Surat Thani - Phuket
From Bangkok, tank Highway 4 (Petchakasem Road) passing Phetchaburi, Prachuab Khiri Khan and Chumphon. Then, turn to Highway 41 to Surat Thani and turn right to Highway 401, 405 and Highway 4 passing Phang Nga. Turn left again to Highway 402 and cross Thep Krasattri Bridge to Phuket.
This new route is favored by tourists who drive to Phuket since they need not cross many high mountains like old route.

Go to Phuket by air.
