Established in late reign of King Rama V as a charity organization to support education art and sciences in Thailand and neighboring countries, Siam Society has library; museum; publications and organizes lectures, conference, seminar, study trips and exhibitions. Interesting site is:
Ethnology Museum exhibits cultural features of rthnics such as Lanna and tribal people in northern Thailand.
