WAT SANTA CRUZ

Location:Near Santa Cruze School, Thonburi District
King Taksin of Thonburi period gave the land for the Protuguese to build a church which later in the Rattanakosin’s reign of King Rama III was established and renamed in Portuguese Wat SantaCruz or Temple of the Great Crux, outstanding with its church-a one-storey structure with a belfry dome in rectangular shape.
The surrounding area is made up of the priest’s residence and a pavilion by the pier in western style. Wat Santa Cruz is the center of Christians in Thonburi area. Open daily between 05.30-08.30 hours.

THAI ANCIENT CAT PARK

Location:Thanon Pinklao-Nakornchaisri between Buddhamondhon 3 and 4, Tawee Wattana District
Cat-lovers should never miss to see the diamond-eyed Khao Manee of the Thai ancient cat family in the reign of King Rama V at Thai Ancient Cat Park. Apart from its beautiful body all in white, its eyes shall be of two colors-either emerald green-amber yellow or light blue-white.
Open daily between 10.00-16.00 hours, visitors may feed and play with cats at ease. Available for sales are only the hybrids of Khao Manee cat family.

THANON UTTAYARN

Location:Buddha Mondhon 4 and 3, Tawee Wattana District.
Thanon Uttayarn or Ak-sa Road as called by the locals was built under the development project of Buddha Mondhon’s surrounding area to link Buddha Mondhon4 and3 together. 90 meters wide and 3,861 long with 979 swan-design lamp posts,
Thanon Uttayan was completed and officially open in 1999, recognized as one of Bangkok’s most beautiful roads.
