How to go to Hua Hin Beach
Hua Hin Beach
Location: Hua Hin Sub District, Hua Hin District, about 190 km from Bangkok or 90 km before reaching Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Hot to get there: From Cha-am Beach, take Highway 4 to Damnoen Kasem Road to the beach. You can use the bus service of Bangkok-Hua Hin or come here by train and get off at Hua Hin Railway Station.
Hua Hin Beach Attractions:
Cha-am Beach and Hua Hin Beach is the same beach being separated by the provincial boundary. So, the surroundings are almost the same including horse riding activity along the beach.
Hua Hin has very white clean sandy beach and very beautiful sea that is the source of the name “Queen of Tranquility” Any sea activities are not allowed at Hua Hin Beach since they will spoil the peaceful atmosphere of the beach, so, tourists can enjoy themselves by relaxing, swimming, riding bicycles along the beach or going up Khao Ta Kiap and Khao Hin Lek Fai to watch the panoramic scenery. These are very worthwhile for the journey to Hua Hin during the holidays.
Facilities: There are a lot of accommodation at Cha-am and Hua Hin Beach of various rates and styles to choose either bungalows or hotels that offer panoramic sea view. At Hua Hin Market, tourists will enjoy eating and shopping.

Cha-am Beach
Location: Ruamchit Road, Cha-am District
How to get there:
From town, take Highway 4 (Phetchakasem Road) passing Phranakhon Khiri, tha Yang District. Turn left to the elevated road at Hup Kraphong about 40 km. at the crossroad, turn left to the beach about 2 km. Another way is to take Bangkok-Cha-am Bus or take the train to Cha-am and get off at Cha-am Railway Station.
Cha-am Attractions:
Cha-am is the longest beach of Phetchaburi covering the distance of 23 km with the 7 km beach road stretching parallel the sea of clean with sand. Cha-am beach offers good swimming area and various sea activities such as horse riding which is the distinctive activity only at Cha-am and Hua Hin Beach.
Cha-am Beach is the very popular enjoyable area for either Thai or foreign tourists especially the Bangkokian. It is convenient to visit, admire the beautiful sea. Enjoy inexpensive delicious seafood at many restaurants and buy various kinds of Thai sweet especially Khanom Mo Kaeng (Thai Custard Cake) in town.

Another province near Bangkok which is convenient to reach is Phetchaburi, the resort town having been famous for its natural attractions long time ago. Southwards is the location of Puek Tian Beach, 22 km. from Phetchaburi Town with the length of 4 km. the beach is white, clean and very wide at low tide and is the relaxing place for Phetchaburi people. The most beautiful beach of Phetchaburi is Cha-am Beach.
