How to go to Khao Lak, Phang Nga Provice Thailand

Khao Lak Location:
By the Andaman shore with Highway 4 (Phetchakasem) skirting by every beach from km marker 40 in Tambon Bang Muang, Amphoe Takuapa for about 20 Kilometers to km marker 60.

How to go to khao lak by car.
By car, from Amphoe Takuapa, ones will see Bang Sak Beach before, whereas from Amphoe Thai Muang, Khao Lak Beach can be reached first, Every beach is conveniently accessible through the road by the beach. By bus, take the Ranong-Phuket or Surat Thani-Phuket routes to the entrance and walk further to the beach.

In the past, going to Phang Nga meant visiting the Phang Nga Bay by boat to see Khao Tapu and Hoh Pan Yee. Later, it included a visit to the Surins and the Slimilans, two archipelagos with Thailand’s most beautiful shallow and deep underwater world. Today, to visit Phang Nga also means no need to take a boat trip out to the sea, as this is Khao Lak, the most beautiful beach in Phang Nga shore, so beautiful that overseas tourists put it among the first destinations in visiting Thailand.

The Phetchakasem Road will lead to Khao Lak. The interesting spot is on the way down the hill to the beach where there is a viewpoint overlooking Khao Lak at a high angle. In fact, Khao Lak also includes Nang Thong Beach: Bang Niang Beach: Khuk Khak Beach and Laem Pakarang, Which can be seen from this viewpoint as the same beach.

Sights:   Though differently called Nang Thong: Khuk Khak: and Bang Niang are the same beach with clean sand, shady with pine trees Some parts are of beachfront forest in alternation with sea morning glory plantations. The beach line stretches for tens kilometers partitioned by canals. Which run to the sea, or by rocks and capes. Each is conveniently accessible on foot. The beach is called differently by the names of the villages around that area.  Having good accommodations scattering around, Khao Lak today still keeps the original nature, especially peace and nice scenery good for relaxation.

Bang Sak Beach with fine and clean sand curves continuously, shady with pine trees, good for a swim.

Laem Pakarang stick out into the sea with its end stretching for hundreds kilometers the only beach with coral remains beautiful, shady with pine trees, nice view and peaceful.

Khuk Khak Beach has a wide fine soft and clean sandy beach curving along good for swimming and walking for a nice view with a little canal in the south to walk across.

Bang Niang Beach has white and clean sand as well but curves in and out good for a swim and a walk to admire the scenery in the peaceful setting.

Nang Thong Brach stretches long curving in and out like a small bay. To the south is a steep hill with good view regarded as the center of Khao Lak.

Khao Lak Beach is composed of a vast fine and sandy beach good for a swim. The beach curves long to the north towards the hill, over looking the Phang Nga Navy Base. To the south is peaceful, shady with sea pines with not-so-long beach providing a private setting besides fantastic beaches, nowadays a visit to Khao Lak includes activities to enjoy in form of package tours with jungle trekking elephant riding, rafting and island tours the perfect beach for everybody’s happy holidays.

Along the beach line of Khao Lak Beach, good accommodations are plenty for you choices- as it is a new sight the accommodations are interestingly designed in modern styles. Tour counters and shops are available on Nang Thong Beach.
