How to go to Cha am Beach
Cha-am Beach
Location: Ruamchit Road, Cha-am District
How to get there:
From town, take Highway 4 (Phetchakasem Road) passing Phranakhon Khiri, tha Yang District. Turn left to the elevated road at Hup Kraphong about 40 km. at the crossroad, turn left to the beach about 2 km. Another way is to take Bangkok-Cha-am Bus or take the train to Cha-am and get off at Cha-am Railway Station.
Cha-am Attractions:
Cha-am is the longest beach of Phetchaburi covering the distance of 23 km with the 7 km beach road stretching parallel the sea of clean with sand. Cha-am beach offers good swimming area and various sea activities such as horse riding which is the distinctive activity only at Cha-am and Hua Hin Beach.
Cha-am Beach is the very popular enjoyable area for either Thai or foreign tourists especially the Bangkokian. It is convenient to visit, admire the beautiful sea. Enjoy inexpensive delicious seafood at many restaurants and buy various kinds of Thai sweet especially Khanom Mo Kaeng (Thai Custard Cake) in town.

How to go to Cha-am by Car.
Starting from the Highway 35 (Thonburi - Pak Tho) passing Samuthsakhon, Samuthsongkram and turn left onto the Highway 4 (Phetchakasem Road) going through Phetchaburi into Prachuab Khiri Khan covering the total distance of about 280 km. taking about 4 hours.
Starting from Phetchakasem Road passing Budhamondhon, Nakhonpathom, Rachaburi, Phetchaburi into Prachuab Khiri Khan covering the total distance of about 320 km, taking about 4 hours.
How to go to Cha-am by Bus.
From the Southern Bus Terminal, there are 1st class and 2nd class air-conditioned buses as well as non-air-conditioned buses daily at you choices to destination such as Bangkok - Hua Hin, Bangkok - Pranburi (about 4 hours) and Bangkok - Bang Saphan (about 5 hours)

How to go to Cha-am by Train.
From Hua Lamphong Railway Station, there are various southern trains that stop at such station as Hua Hin: Ban krud: Bang Saphan. One-day tour programs by train of holidays are also available.
