WAT KRUAWAN WARAWIHAN

Location:Arun Amarin Road, Bangkok Yai District

Originally was an old temple in Ayuthaya period, renovated and nominated as a royal monastery in Rattanakosin’s King Rama III, Wat Kruawan is outstanding
With its beautifully decorated ordination hall or Ubosot and the mural painting depicting the 500 lives of the Lord Buddha. The Principle Buddha Image has the same characteristics as that at Phra Pathom Chedi. The Image Hall looks the same as the Ubosot.

BENCHASIRI PARK BANGKOK THAILAND

Location: Sukhumvit Road between Soi 22-24, Klong Toey

This 29-rai Park was built after the relocation of the Meteorological Department to Bangna-Trad Road as the Location is considered not ideal for weather predictions. It was named Benchasiri and dedicated to HM the Queen on the occasion 60^th birthday anniversary in 1992.

Outstanding is the arrangement of plants that reveals 70% of the sky beauty. Its 20% area made into a water park serves the public with flood relief as it helps keep rainfall before regular drainage. Also interesting are the 18 sculptures; musical fountain; Buddha Teaching and Music in the Park. Open daily between 05.00-21.00 hours.
