Another province near Bangkok which is convenient to reach is Phetchaburi, the resort town having been famous for its natural attractions long time ago. It is located at 121 km from Bangkok having very white sand similar to the sand in the middle of Andaman Sea. Beauty at Cha-am and Hua Hin Beach is waiting to be touched by people of any ages. Once King Naresuan, the Great and his brother made a visit to Phetchaburi and enjoyed the beach atmosphere. People, then named that beach “Had Chao Samran” meaning the beach of happiness and fun. It is Phetchaburi’s one of the most beautiful beaches located before Puek Tian and Cha-am Beach. These two beaches are the special gifts for Cha-am tour program.
Attractions:
Drive along Highway 4 or Phetchakasem Road parallel Phetchaburi Shoreline to the south. There is the road to the beach starting at Chao Samran Beach, 15 km from town with quiet atmosphere shaded by pine trees. A walkway along the beach is good for strolling along or watching the scenery
Southwards is the location of Puek Tian Beach, 22 km. from Phetchaburi Town with the length of 4 km. the beach is white, clean and very wide at low tide and is the relaxing place for Phetchaburi people. The most beautiful beach of Phetchaburi is Cha-am Beach.
