It is surprising that. Trat is one of Thailand’s popular tourist destinations but is Muang District is just a small town. Normally, Tourists will pass Trat Town and go straight to Koh Chang by using the by-path road to the Ferry Pier. Trat, a small town. Is convenient to visit and no need to have a bus service since every destination is located close to each other.
There are many beach roads in Trat such as Trat-laem Sok of 5 km, good for scenery viewing passing fruit gardens and Trat Estuary. If you fly Bangkok airways, you will see the terrific scenery of the estuary and shoreline before landing at Trat Airport.
Trat-khlong Yai-Had Lek: The interesting beautiful beach road of quiet atmosphere along Khao Banthad Mountain Range bordering Thailand and Cambodia On the right side are groups of beautiful beaches Sai Nag Beach, Sai Ngoen Beach, Sai Kaew Beach or Muk Kaew Beach.
Sai Ngam Beach: The beach of very clear little grained sand, very soft while stepping on, shaded by long range of pine trees. Not many facilities are fund at this quiet beach. The area has good scenery.
Sai Ngoen Beach: Located next to Sai Ngam Beach with almost the same features as Sai Ngam Beach it offers a good swimming area of colorful sand.
Sai Kaew Beach has delightful atmosphere of pine tree. Clean white sand and colorful sea as well as the most beautiful sunset scene. The area is wide and spacious for relaxation. If you choose to stay at Muk Kaew Resort, you can drive to the nearby places like Ratchakarun Red Cross Center at Khao Lan (km like Ratchakarun Red Cross cen at Khao Lan (km like Ratchakarun Red Cross Center at Khao Lan (km marker 48) located about 7 km from Muk Kaew Beach. It was constructed in 1979 occupying the area of 60 acres with the purpose to assist Cambodian refugees. This work terminated in 1986 but the Center is still the beautiful place having good swimming area and wonderful scenery. Ratchakarun Pavilion exhibiting the work of the royal families and the replica of Cambodian refugees of human size.
Ban Chuen Beach: The accessed road is at km marker 59 on the right side. It is so-called one of the most beautiful beaches along this road with clean white sand and wide beach area shaded by lines of pine tree. The sea has beautiful color and good for swimming as well as the magnificent sunset scenery being offered.
Had Lek: The last Thai village at Thai-Cambodian Border located in Khlong Yai District, about 89 km from Trat town of 47 km from Muk Kaew Beach Had Lek has no beach but the bay and piers. There re a lot of copied merchandise and dry crispy fish imported from Cambodia.
It is interesting to change the destinations from Trat’s islands to beaches all of which are beautiful not less than one another. All are the highlights of Trat Sea.

Highlights of Trat, besides its fantastic islands are the wonderful coastline which is the sixth longest coastline of Thailand stretching about 165.5 km People of Trat still has the occupation of fishery though Trat is famous nowadays as the province of tourism, in front of the beach, you will see a lot of fishing boats. It is estimated that about 5,000 families do the fishery.
