 WAT RAJNADDARAM WARAWIHAN

Location: Near Mahakal Fort next to Jetsadabodin Pavillion by Phanfa Lila Bridge

Built under the royal command of King Rama Ill in dedication to his prince niece Somanas, the temple has a number of significant monuments including the Ubosot enshrining copper cast of the Principle Buddha image. In the west is where the Loha Prasat—the first and only one in Thailand and one of the World’s three Metal Castles of this kind.

Open daily for the temple visit between 09.00-20.00 hours, and between 09.00-17.00 hours for the Ubosot.
